The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that it will remove a 10-ton gross weight limitation of Ninth Street (Route 3029) near Philipsburg. The limitation is being lifted between the intersection with Route 322 in Rush Township, Centre County, and Route 53 in Morris Township, Clearfield County.
PennDOT will remove the posting effective Monday, May 20. It is lifting the posting after a review of the roadway’s structural capacity.
