PENFIELD – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) alerted drivers that Route 153 (Boone Mountain Road) is closed between the intersection with Route 255 (Bennett’s Valley Road) in Penfield and the intersection of Mount Pleasant Road in Huston Township due to an overturned tractor-trailer.
PennDOT representatives expect the closure to remain in place until the afternoon and advise drivers to avoid the area by seeking alternate routes.
