ST. MARYS – The Elk County Democratic Committee will be holding a grand opening of its Victory Headquarters this Friday, April 19 starting at 6:30 p.m. at its permanent headquarters at 210 Brusselles St., in downtown St. Marys.
This is the earliest ever that the Elk County Democrats have opened a permanent headquarters in a Presidential Election year but with strong financial donations, it is a reality again for 2024.
The grand-opening will feature a Meet-and-Greet event for local candidates including Zach Womer, candidate for U.S. Congress 15th District and write-in candidate William McGill, candidate for Senator in the General Assembly -25th District to meet voters from Elk County as all voters are encouraged to stop by the headquarters during the grand opening hours.
The committee will have information, yard signs and literature for the Democratic slate of candidates including Joe Biden for U.S. President, Kamala Harris for U.S. Vice President, Bob Casey Jr. for U.S. Senator, Malcolm Kenyatta for PA Auditor General, Ryan Bizzarro for PA Treasurer and Eugene DePasquale for PA Attorney General.
The headquarters, strategically located across from Sheetz in downtown St. Marys, will be a focal point for Democrats in 2024 for yard signs, literature and other information about Democratic candidates.
