GRAMPIAN – The Grampian Lions Club will hold a “Joe Wriglesworth Memorial Pancake and Sausage Breakfast” at the Grampian Fire Hall on Saturday, April 13. The breakfast will be served from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The menu consists of buttermilk pancakes, buckwheat cakes, sausage, liverwurst, coffee and orange juice. You can eat-in or take-out. The price of the meal is $10 for adults and $5 for children (10 years and under).
Proceeds from the breakfast will be used to support the club’s community service efforts.
These include Curwensville area senior scholarships; Curwensville Little League; Boy Scouts Bucktail Council; Laurel Hill Trout Farm Youth Fishing and Reading Under the Lights.
Others include Caring and Sharing for Kids; Clearfield Area United Way; Curwensville Rec Soccer; Relay for Life; as well as the club’s Christmas lighting contest; children’s Easter egg hunt; Children’s Halloween trunk-or-treat; and children’s Christmas festival.
This is a service club and monies raised from its events are reinvested into the community.
