PENNSYLVANIA – The American Pickers will soon return to Pennsylvania.
Currently plans are to film episodes of The History Channel hit television series throughout the Keystone state in April of 2024, according to Meredith Ball, show producer.
American Pickers is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique “picking.” The show follows skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques.
Hitting the back roads from coast to coast, the Pickers have one mission: to recycle and rescue forgotten relics with hopes of giving these historically-significant objects a new lease on life.
They also enjoy meeting some “unforgettable characters,” and learning “a thing or two” about America’s past along the way, said Ball.
The Pickers “have seen a lot of rusty gold” over the years, and are always on the look-out to uncover something extraordinary—“something that they’ve never seen before” with a fascinating tale.
The show needs some leads to “hidden treasure.” If you or someone you know own a unique item, have a story to tell and are ready to sell … well, the show would love to hear from you, said Ball.
It was noted that the Pickers do not pick stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums or any place open to the public.
