CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Regional Police on Feb. 9 reported the apprehension of two wanted people.
According to a department-issued news release, around 4 p.m., officers located a wanted female along Morrison Road in Lawrence Township. She was detained on an active arrest warrant through the Clearfield County Sheriff’s office.
As she was detained, there was a commotion at a nearby trailer that’s “known to harbor” a wanted male. Police converged and conducted a search for 27-year-old Tanner Alley of Clearfield.
During their search, the trailer was reportedly found to be “unhabitable, especially for the children [who] were present.”
Alley was located hiding under a tree near the residence. He was taken into custody and allegedly in possession of methamphetamine.
The release noted Alley was wanted by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections as he’d escaped from a facility.
Police were assisted by the PA State Constable, Clearfield County Children, Youth & Family Services and Lawrence Township code enforcement.
Alley was transported to the jail on several summary warrants and the DOC warrant, with drug charges pending.
Additional charges are also expected to be filed with regards to this incident.
