They say it takes a village. Well, this annual Christmas Eve event is blessed to have a village of elves.
Each year hundreds of people from all over our local communities rally to help put on the Steve Livergood Jr. Christmas Eve dinner. Their mission is to provide Clearfield and the surrounding areas with free dinners, gifts for children in need, and so much more.
Since 1995 the foundation has been spreading Christmas spirit by serving over 25,000 free dinners consisting of turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, stuffing and a roll. All of the meals are prepared at The After Dark, 309 N. 3rd Street in Clearfield. Dine-in and scheduled pick-up is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can also make arrangements for delivery.
