Next it approved the purchase and installation of casework for nine classrooms at Clearfield Area Elementary School.

Third it approved the installation of an additional light standard provided by the district between the last standard on the left-hand side of the drive and the next standard in line.
This will better illuminate the driveway and the parking access road into the grass parking used for football game overflow parking.
The ground improvement budget is $20,000 and this project will be approximately $4,000.
Fourth, the board approved the installation of new LED lights on the Tech parking lot through to the intersection for a total of six upgraded lights.
The estimated cost is $6,000. The ground improvement budget will then have a remaining budget of $10,000.
Lastly is the purchase a snow box for the John Deer tractor; this will allow the tractor to be used for plowing snow and stacking snow after a storm.
A budget for upgrades to the tractor was approved for $8,000; the district purchased wheels and tires at a cost of approximately $4,500; the snow box is approximately $3,000 for a total equipment investment of $7,500.
These projects were part of the district’s capital projects budget, but were brought back before the board for final approval before proceeding.
