DUBOIS – A daisy is a small yellow and white flower that is symbolic of purity, innocence, joy and cheerfulness.
A DAISY also is a prestigious award established by the DAISY Foundation to recognize the compassionate and skillful care nurses provide to patients and families.
On Oct. 5, nurses at Penn Highlands Clearfield and Penn Highlands DuBois celebrated DAISY Awareness Day.
Penn Highlands Clearfield
Three nurses were honored at Penn Highlands Clearfield for the extraordinary care and kindness they provide. Susan Kephart, RN, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), received the DAISY Award.
