CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County board of commissioners addressed various items of business Tuesday.
More specifically, the commissioners:
- proclaimed October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
- approved Resolution 2003-#6 authorizing the execution of the reimbursement agreement between the commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the county.
- approved a memorandum of understanding with Clearfield Area School District with regards to their transportation procedures agreement.
- approved a copier lease with Doing Better Business for use in the Register & Recorder’s office.
- appointed Angela Ireland to the Curwensville Lake Authority board.
- approved an agreement with the Lawrence Township board of supervisors for work the township has agreed to do for the county in the area of the jail.
- approved an agreement with Martha Lask Consulting LLC for coaching and leadership services for the Children & Youth Services Department.
- approved a purchase of service agreement with the Centre County Youth Service Bureau.
- approved the personnel report consisting of three new hires, three employee transfers and one employee leave of absence.
- approved the minutes from the Sept. 26 board meeting as presented by the chief clerk.
- approved the bills as presented by the Controller’s office.
