- Police on Oct. 11 reported that a green drawstring bag was turned over after it was located in the 900-block of Martin Street in Clearfield. The bag contained several items of clothing and its owner can claim the bag by contacting police.
- Police on Oct. 6 reported an assault that occurred at Clearfield County Jail. According to a department-issued news release, corrections officer Tyler Daniels shoved a 65-year-old inmate into his cell block while his hands were handcuffed in front of him. Allegedly, this caused the inmate to fall backwards, striking his head off the toilet and wall. The inmate was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Daniels was charged with simple assault and harassment.
- Police on Oct. 9 reported an incident of DUI and child endangerment in the area of East 13th Street and Bigler Avenue. During a traffic stop, the driver was suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance with a juvenile passenger in the vehicle. The driver was transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield for a legal blood draw. Charges are currently pending.
