- Police responded to a physical domestic July 31 on Bigler Avenue. Upon arrival, a disorderly female was placed into custody and later determined to have allegedly struck two people, causing injury. She was placed in county jail and faces charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and public drunkenness.
- Police responded to a domestic in progress July 29 on East Cherry Street. On-scene the victim was found to have been injured in an alleged altercation; a female allegedly fought with officers before being placed under arrest for the incident.
- Police responded to West Market Street for a public service call July 25. According to a department-issued news release, the caller heard a loud crash followed by a woman screaming. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 20-year-old who had two severe lower-leg lacerations from kicking out his second-floor window. Officers provided first aid and requested EMS. The male was flown to UPMC Altoona for treatment of injuries. Charges are currently pending.
- Police received a report of a suspicious person July 28 in the area of Weaver and West Pine streets. According to a department-issued news release, a male was on a child-size bicycle yelling and hitting cars. Police made contact with the male who made several concerning statements, and he was transported for an evaluation.
- Police responded to a disturbance July 29 on Woodland Road. According to a department-issued news release, the caller said a known male arrived to take their daughter when he appeared intoxicated. Upon arrival, he was observed driving in the area of Woodland Road and East 13th Street. He stopped, placed his car in reverse and turned onto East 13th Street where police stopped him. The male was subsequently taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence.
- Police received a report of terroristic threats and disorderly conduct July 24 on Merrill Street. Upon arrival, it was found that Sara Peangatelli, 35, of Clearfield had allegedly threatened to kill her neighbor and their dog. She was taken into custody and put in county jail on a probation detainer. Charges were filed through the district court.
