SANDY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – An Ohio woman was killed after the motorcycle she was riding on tipped over near I-80 in Clearfield County on Wednesday afternoon.
According to DuBois-based State Police, the crash happened at 2:21 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, on near Interstate 80, in Sandy Township, Clearfield County.
Police say a 2018 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by 66-year-old Roger A. Graves, of Ravenna, OH, was traveling on the westbound on-ramp when the bike hit an unknown oil substance on the roadway.
The motorcycle began to slide on the roadway, causing it to lay on its side.
Both Graves and his passenger, identified as 56-year-old Debra L. Philip, of Ravenna, OH, fell off of the motorcycle.
Philip was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clearfield County Coroner.
Graves suffered an injury of unknown severity and was transported to Penn Highlands DuBois by Amserv LTD.
