CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield school board on Monday night voted to approve Superintendent Terry Struble’s rating for 2022-23 as satisfactory.
Struble was hired by the district in 2013. His current five-year contract runs through June 30, 2028, according to previously-published reports.
Also, on Monday night, the board voted to approve grade-level and department chairs at both the elementary and junior-senior high schools as well as district-wide.
Elementary grade-level chairs will be: kindergarten, Laurel Learish; first grade, Jody Williams; second grade, Vicki Trinidad; third grade, Elizabeth Love; fourth grade, Jennifer Thorp; fifth grade, Roxanne Adamson; and sixth grade, Jennifer Peacock.
The elementary Special Education (including Gifted) chair will be Paula Thorp; the Title I Services (reading and math) chair will be Kathy Shugarts; and the elementary Related Arts chair will be Jayme Spence.
At the junior-senior high school, department chairs will be English/Language Arts (including library), Tiffany Warlow; Social Studies, David Wright; Science, Sarah Fye; Math, Judi Bookhamer; Tech (Comp./Ag/Wood Shop/Software), Brian Lytle; Fine Arts (Music/Art/Family & Consumer Sciences/Language), Leann Adams; secondary Special Education (including Gifted), Karen Ward; and Physical Education & Health, Scott Collins.
District-wide chairs will be Guidance, Jon Mikesell; Speech & Language, Sandra Gardner; and Nursing Services, Stefanie Sattesahn.
