CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Regional Police Department has an active arrest warrant for 18-year-old Lionel G. Gilpatrick of Clearfield.
Currently, Gilpatrick is wanted by police for the felony charge of theft of a motor vehicle.
According to a news release, police received a report about a motor vehicle theft May 6 at a Lawrence Township shopping plaza.
Upon further investigation, it was allegedly found that Gilpatrick had stolen the vehicle.
The vehicle was located by state police, at which point it was discovered that the driver had purchased the car from Gilpatrick.
Gilpatrick is known to frequent the Philipsburg area, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 814-765-1647.
