CLEARFIELD- The Clearfield school board on Monday night voted to approve a pair of capital projects.
Under buildings and finance, the board approved having track resurfacing work done at the junior-senior high school campus.
The cost will not exceed $175,000 from the 2023-24 budgeted capital funding, said Superintendent Terry Struble.
The resurfacing work needs completed soon, as it would only become more costly to do down the road, Struble said last week.
Struble anticipates the project will be completed before the start of the new school year Aug. 23.
The board also approved door improvements and security upgrades utilizing PA Commission on Crime and Delinquency grant funding.
In other business, it was reported that elementary yearbooks will be on-sale during back-to-school nights in August.
Yearbook order forms will be available for school families who are unable to attend. The cost is $20.
More information concerning back-to-school nights will be provided by the district at a future date.
