Lawrence Township
- Police received a report of retail theft that occurred March 21 at the Clearfield Walmart. During the incident, 39-year-old Holly M. Elensky of Philipsburg allegedly took merchandise without making any effort to pay for it. She was stopped by store staff but was uncooperative and fled. Through investigation and public assistance, the woman was identified as Elensky and charged through the district court.
- Police reported a drug-related DUI occurred March 28 on Rut Alley in Lawrence Township. During a traffic stop, contact was made with a 36-year-old Clearfield woman and she was allegedly found to be under the influence of controlled substance(s). She was subsequently taken into custody and to Penn Highlands Clearfield for a legal blood draw. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report of harassment March 25 on High Level Road in Lawrence Township. During the incident, a 11-year-old male allegedly subjected a younger child to unwanted physical contact. The investigation is ongoing with charges pending.
