ST MARYS — The Clearfield Junior High wrestling team competed at the Area 5 tournament on Sunday at St. Marys High school.
The top-3 place winners at their weights advanced to the Pennsylvania Junior High State wrestling championships in Johnstown this upcoming weekend.
Clearfield had four champions and had a total of nine wrestlers qualify for the state championships.
Clearfield also took the team title with 163 points, second was St. Marys with 130, and Curwensville was third with 95 points.Â
