GRAMPIAN – Members of the Grampian Lions Club recently held a meeting to discuss upcoming projects and activities.
The club again received a Clearfield County Charitable Foundation grant to support its eyeglasses and hearing programs in 2022. It also recently purchased a Visulox Visual Aid and eyeglasses for local residents.
On Saturday, April 9, the club will host its annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt, from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., at the Grampian CenClear Center. All local children are welcome. More information will be released in the future.
The club also purchased another storage shed for activity and event items, and expressed gratitude for being able to house it at the Grampian Community Park.
The club recently made donations of baskets/cash towards a paddle party to benefit the Irvin Park inclusive playground project.
Other donations included a family who lost their home to fire and another with a medical need; Clearfield Area United Way and Boy Scouts of America Bucktail Council.
Members expressed gratitude for community support that makes their activities and events possible. New members are always welcome to help the club fulfill its motto: “We Serve.”
