BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The driver of an amish buggy is facing DUI charges after Brookville Borough Police stopped his horse and buggy and reportedly found him to be under the influence of alcohol.
Police say the incident occurred on February 20 when a traffic stop was conducted on an Amish horse and buggy.
The traffic stop took place around 11:24 p.m. on Valley Street.
The driver underwent field sobriety testing and was found to be intoxicated.
DUI and other related traffic offenses have been filed at District Magistrate Gregory Bazylak’s office.
The driver’s name was not released.
