CLEARFIELD – A local man was arrested for allegedly being in possession of crystal methamphetamine and cocaine at the Clearfield Walmart on Wednesday morning.
Denny Daub, 34, of Clearfield is charged by Lawrence Township police with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and false identification to law enforcement.
According to a department-issued news release, police were dispatched to the Walmart parking lot at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, while an intoxicated male was attempting to break into a burgundy vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers located Daub, who provided a false name but was positively identified and discovered to have active warrants through the Clearfield Borough police and Department of Corrections.
Police say Daub was also in possession of approximately 13.65 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 3.32 grams of cocaine. The case is currently pending a preliminary hearing.
