State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report of a motor vehicle theft Jan. 31 on the Tyrone Pike in Beccaria Township. During the incident, known suspects allegedly removed a red caravan from the victim’s property. The investigation is ongoing with charges pending.
- State police reported a drug violation Jan. 27 on the Allport Cutoff in Morris Township. During the incident, a Frenchville teen was allegedly found in possession of a THC vape pen while at school. Charges are currently pending.
- State police investigated an alleged assault that occurred between Sept. 1 and Dec. 30 on Railroad Street in Boggs Township. Troopers say a five-year-old boy was assaulted by a 42-year-old Windber man. Charges were filed through the district court; the investigation is ongoing.
- State police reported an incident of DUI Jan. 28 in the area of Bigler Road and Philipsburg – Bigler Highway in Bradford Township. During the incident, a 28-year-old Wallaceton man was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently taken for a legal blood draw, and charges are currently pending at this time.
- State police reported a drug violation Jan. 28 on Meadow Wood Lane in Bradford Township. During the incident, a 38-year-old Woodland woman was allegedly found in possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed through the district court.
- State police received a report of identity theft Jan. 28 on Green Road in Bradford Township. During the incident, someone allegedly gained access to the victim’s personal information and opened an unemployment claim. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.
- State police received a report of identity theft Jan. 31 on Keystone Hill Road in Decatur Township. During the incident, someone allegedly used the victim’s personal information to open an unemployment claim.
- State police received a report of a theft Jan. 23 on Little Trout Run Road in Goshen Township. During the incident, the victim attempted to purchase items online, but allegedly never received them. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- State police received a report of theft Feb. 1 on Ross Road in Ferguson Township. Several items were allegedly taken from the victim’s property; items included a pressure washer, weed whacker and an aluminum tree stand. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
Curwensville Borough
- Police were dispatched to a noise complaint at a Filbert Street residence. Contact was made with those involved and they were advised to desist.
- Police took a female into custody on warrants, and drugs were reportedly located on her person. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police were dispatched to a domestic altercation at a School Street residence. Upon arrival, it was found that the altercation was only verbal in nature.
- Police were dispatched to a psychological emergency. The individual was located and subsequently transported by EMS for evaluation.
- Police were dispatched to a Meadow Street residence for a reported theft from a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, police found the call to be civil in nature.
- Police conducted a warrant service at a Griffith Avenue residence.
- Police were dispatched to “The Stuff Store” for a reported theft. Upon arrival, store owners advised that a female individual retrieved an empty purse on display and left the business. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
- Police were dispatched to a State Street residence for reported child custody issues. Upon arrival, the call was found to be civil in nature.
- Police were dispatched to a reported death. Upon investigation, it was found not to be malicious in nature.
- Police were dispatched to a Filbert Street residence for a disturbance. Upon arrival, it was found the property owner wanted several residents removed from the house.
