MADERA – State police at Clearfield are seeking a male suspect in connection with an armed robbery Thursday morning at Dollar General in Madera.
At approximately 10:30 a.m., investigators say an adult male entered the store, approached the checkout counter and demanded money from the cashier.
He also allegedly pulled out a black handgun from his waistband, causing the cashier to fear serious injury or death. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash and a Pepsi, according to the report.
State police describe the suspect as a Caucasian male in his late 30’s or early to mid-40’s. He has an “average” build, weighing 180 – 210 pounds and standing 5 feet, 5 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches tall.
He was also wearing blue jeans, brown shoes, a light gray sweatshirt with “Pittsburgh” across the chest and a Steelers emblem, a green-colored beanie and a black mask.
