State police at Clearfield
- State police handled an incident of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest Jan. 20 on Main Street in Winburne. During a domestic incident, a 28-year-old male was allegedly highly intoxicated and caused a disturbance. He was taken into custody and to Clearfield County Jail.
- State police received a report of a motor vehicle theft that occurred sometime between Dec. 22 and Jan. 2 on Fernwood Road in Gulich Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole the victim’s pickup truck from a Fernwood, Pa., property. He said the 1994 Chevrolet Silverado extended cab was missing a gas tank and last seen Dec. 22. It is also blue and silver in color. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report of terroristic threats Jan. 18 in the area of West Hannah and McAteer streets in Bigler Township. During a road rage incident, 36-year-old Michael Welder of Philipsburg allegedly brandished a knife and threatened to kill the driver of another vehicle. Welder was taken into custody and charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and related offenses; he’s currently being housed at Clearfield County Jail.
- State police received a report of an assault Jan. 17 on Bell Run Road in Penn Township. Following a domestic altercation, a 46-year-old Grampian man was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- State police received a report of criminal mischief that occurred sometime Jan. 10-Jan. 19 on North Front Street in Decatur Township. During the incident, someone allegedly damaged a sign that belonged to the victim for his restaurant. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report of identity theft Jan. 9 on Old Highway 322 in Decatur Township. During the incident, someone allegedly opened a fraudulent unemployment claim using the victim’s personal information without his permission.
- State police received a report of identity theft Jan. 19 on Old Station Road in Ferguson Township. During the incident, someone allegedly opened up an account in the victim’s name.
