State police at Clearfield
- State police reported a DUI occurred July 7 in the area of Camp and Crooked Sewer roads in Boggs Township. According to state police, troopers responded to a call for a disabled motorist and the driver, a 23-year-old Grassflat man, was found to be under the influence of alcohol/drugs. Charges were filed through the district court.
- State police reported an accidental death Oct. 10 in the area of the Old Erie Pike and Stoneville Road in Boggs Township. According to state police, a 27-year-old Woodland man attempted a jump on his dirt bike in a stripping area off the west side of Old Erie Pike. Upon landing, he crashed and suffered blunt force trauma to his head. He was flown via medical helicopter to Alleghany General Hospital where on Aug. 11, he succumbed to his injuries.
- State police received a report of harassment Oct. 10 on Deer Creek Road in Morris Township. During the incident, a 42-year-old Morrisdale woman was involved in a verbal altercation with a teen that allegedly turned physical. The teen sustained minor injuries, state police say. The woman was charged for the incident through the district court.
- State police received a report of welfare fraud Oct. 12 on Main Street in Ramey Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly used the victim’s information to file a fraudulent unemployment claim. The investigation is continuing.
State police at Rockview
- State police reported a DUI occurred Oct. 2 in the area of Kylertown – Drifting Highway and Cooper Avenue in Cooper Township, Clearfield County. As a result, charges will be filed against a 37-year-old man from Clarence.
- State police have launched an investigation into a report of child neglect and reckless endangerment that occurred Sept. 20 on Shady Dell Road in Worth Township, Centre County. No further information is available at this time.
- State police reported a drug violation occurred Sept. 17 in the area of New Liberty Road and Crago Lane in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. During a traffic stop, a 44-year-old Osceola Mills man was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.
