Police received a report of harassing/threatening text messages. Charges are pending against a 37 year old female.
Police located a suspicious vehicle in a known drug location. Upon making contact a consent to search was obtained. Upon exiting the vehicle Jeanette Monk, 39, of Curwensville was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. The search resulted in locating a controlled substance. Charges have been filed.
Police are investigating the report of a damaged vehicle on Montgomery Run Rd. that occurred between the late hours of Sept. 20 and early morning on Sept. 21. The victim advised that there are nearby surveillance cameras in the area. The investigation continues.
Curwensville Borough
Police were called to a Sunset Ln. residence for a physical assault. Upon arrival the accused was located and arrested. The victim was found to have warrants and was transported to the Clearfield Co. Jail.
Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision between an ambulance and a passenger vehicle on Filbert St. No injuries were reported.
Police were called to a Swoope St. apartment for a report of a female yelling for help. Upon investigation it was determined that the female was experiencing a medical emergency. Care was turned over to EMS.
Police conducted a traffic stop on North St. for a vehicle that was found to have a fraudulent license plate and inspection sticker. The vehicle was towed. Charges are pending.
