CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Fire Company No. 5 responded to a reported brush fire Sunday in the 200-block of Flegal Road, Clearfield.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a 50-foot by 50-foot fire in a wooded area, which they were able to contain to a small area. Firefighters cleared the scene shortly thereafter.
The department also assisted Pennsylvania State Police following a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 80 westbound at mile-marker 114 in Pine Township.
