BECCARIA TOWNSHIP – Clearfield-based state police are investigating a reported burglary in Beccaria Township, Clearfield County.
According to a news release, the incident occurred at around 2:15 a.m. Friday, May 21 on Liberty Street.
State police say a male entered the victim’s residence and demanded money from her with negative results.
When the suspect tried to flee, the victim tried to remove his mask to identify him. However, he was able to flee on foot towards Coalport.
State police describe the suspect as a Caucasian male standing around 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a stocky build and black hair.
Additionally, he may have scratches on his face that were inflicted by the victim. Anyone with information is asked to contact 814-857-3800.
State police would like to remind residents to always make sure their homes and vehicles are locked.
