Police conducted a traffic stop on a red Yamaha rocket in the area of Spruce St. for performing multiple traffic violations. The driver, 31 year old Tyler Timko, was found to be driving on a suspended license with no insurance. He was also found to have multiple outstanding warrants and was in possession of methamphetamine, heroin and drug paraphernalia. Timko was taken into custody and housed in the Clearfield County Jail.

State police responded to a report of a fight between two men on Red Jacket Rd. in Boggs Twp. Robbie Emigh, 50, of Philipsburg and David Bunge, 32, of State College engaged in physical contact after Emigh encouraged them to fight. Both suffered injuries which rose to a level of simple assault. Bunge was punched several time and Emigh was struck by a rock in the head. Bunge then threw the rock at Emigh’s truck causing damage. Charges have filed against both.
State police stopped a vehicle for multiple violations on the Rockton Mountain Hwy. Upon investigation it was discovered that the 20 year old male was during under the influence of drugs. Charges are pending toxicology results.
State police investigated a report of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in Morris Twp. The victim allowed the suspect to borrow her vehicle for a few hours then reported the vehicle stolen. The suspect returned the vehicle three days later and then the victim refused to cooperate with criminal charges.
State police conducted a traffic stop on W. Maple St. in Philipsburg Borough. The 33 year old female driver was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Charges are pending toxicology results.
State police responded to a single vehicle accident on SR 219 in Greenwood Twp. The driver for unknown reasons drifted of the roadway, impacted with a culvert and overturned twice before coming to a rest. The operated sustained minor injuries and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
State police investigated a burglary on Griffith Ave. in Curwensville Borough. Actors entered a residence and removed a backpack, jeans and approximately $100 worth of jewelry. The investigation continues.
State police responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries on Ansonville Lane in Jordan Twp. The driver of the vehicle lost control, crossed the roadway and made contact with a tree head on. The driver and a passenger were transported to UPMC Altoona for treatment.
