CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Supervisors opened bids for 1,000 tons (more or less) of 2RC limestone to be delivered to the township building as needed.
The low bid accepted by the supervisors was from Bucktail Excavators at $13.08 per ton.
Roadmaster Ron Woodling also reported on a price for dust control, which is $1.40 per gallon or $6,300 for a truck load.
The supervisors learned that the Community Development Block Grant project for Kerr Addition may not start until September and the supervisors agreed to contact the contractor about the delay.
The walk through for the project was done in September or early October and approved before January.
The CDBG money from 2018, which was earmarked for the project, needs to be used by March 7, 2022.
