CLEARFIELD – A Shop for a Cause sale will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Clearfield County.
Walmart Distribution Center, Woodland, will donate 10-12 truckloads of merchandise for the sale event. All proceeds will benefit Habitat’s next home build in Clearfield that’s slated to begin in April or May (weather permitting).
The sale event will take place, from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Friday, April 2 at the Expo I Building at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds. It will continue until 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, or until merchandise is sold out. All items are “as-is” and all sales are final. Cash and cards are accepted; no returns.
Habitat will follow all U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Pennsylvania Department of Health COVID-19 public health and safety guidelines.
Shoppers will be required to wear facial coverings, and are asked to please practice social distancing. Habitat will also limit the number of shoppers inside the building.
Habitat has acquired a property on Merrill Street, Clearfield, and volunteers are sought to participate in the home build effort such as skilled laborers. All volunteers are valuable, however.
