CURWENSVILLE – Hosting 14-1 Brookville on Tuesday night was quite a task for the Curwensville boys basketball team.
In the end, the Raiders left Patton Hall at Curwensville High School with a 77-20 victory over the Golden Tide, upping its season record to 15-1.
With balanced scoring throughout the contest the Raiders took a fairly insurmountable lead at the intermission 37-16.
And offensively things got worse for the Golden Tide in the second half as it scored just four total points to Brookville‘s 40.
Senior Trevor Lansberry had nine points for the Tide, all on three-pointers.
Jace Miner had 26 to lead the Raiders offense, with teammate Hunter Geer adding 10.
Brookville also won the junior varsity game by a score of 48-12. High scorer for the Golden Tide was Carson Spencer with 11 points.
The Tide, now with a season mark of 3-10, are home once again on Wednesday night hosting Moshannon Valley. Curwensville defeated the Black Knights earlier this season, in January, on the road 69-47.
