CLEARFIELD – Due to COVID-19 concerns, the Clearfield County Election Office will not be hosting an in-person candidate’s night event.
However, staff have recorded an informational video that can be viewed on the county election Web site.
It can be found at clearfieldco.org/Election Central, and is listed under Election Office Quick Links. It’s titled “Clearfield County Election Candidate Video 2021.”
Staff will be discussing the following:
- Election Cycle Calendar
- Petitions, Filing Fees and Signature requirements
- Statements of Financial Interest
- Campaign Finance
- Magisterial District Judge/School Director: Cross-filing Requirements
The Election Office has petition packets and all necessary paperwork and information required to run for office available at the office, which is located at 212 E. Locust St., Clearfield.
The packets must be picked up, as the staff will not mail or e-mail them. Petition filing runs from Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021 through Tuesday, March 9, 2021.
