DUBOIS – Each year, the kindergarten classes of DuBois Central Catholic share in a traditional Thanksgiving feast down the center of Event Hall at DuBois Central Catholic.
The children create Indian and Pilgrim attire to wear and are served by their parents and other volunteers a traditional turkey dinner.
This year, due to COVID-19, the children could not have their ‘feast’, but they could still create clothing out of paper, to wear at their family Thanksgiving table at home.
The children wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, while also reminding: “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
