HOUTZDALE – The Houtzdale Borough Parks and Revitalization Committee will be holding a ground-breaking ceremony at 10 a.m. Oct. 24, at 703 Hannah St. The ceremony will be to officially initiate a project for the construction of a brand-new park in the borough.
The park will be called the Trella Memorial Park and will honor the memory of two service members from the area. More information will be announced at the ceremony. This is a very important moment for the borough, as this is the first park that will be built and operated by the borough.
