State police responded to an accidental shooting on Grassflat Ave. in Cooper Twp. A male was attempting to clear his pistol and the firearm discharged into this hand. He was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment.
State police investigated an incident of criminal trespass on Old Sawmill Rd. in Graham Twp. The known offender, a 45 year old male from Houtzdale, arrived on the property after being told he was not permitted. Charges have been filed.
Police responded to an accident on Greenwood Rd. in Pike Twp. The operator of the vehicle swerved to miss a deer and struck a tree. The driver received suspected minor injury and the vehicle was disabled.
Police responded to a tractor trailer accident that occurred on I-80 at the 128.8 mile marker. The driver traveled off the roadway and impacted with multiple trees. The driver was not injured. The tractor trailer was towed from the scene.
State police responded to an accident at Sheetz in Decatur Twp. A vehicle driven by a 57 year old Morrisdale man failed to yield to oncoming traffic striking another vehicle. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
State police responded to a two vehicle crash in a work zone on the Curwensville Grampian Hwy. in Pike Twp. The driver of a Subaru Forrester crashed into the rear of a vehicle that was stopped at a stop light prior to entering the work zone. No injuries were reported. Charges of DUI are pending toxicology reports.
State police responded to a disturbance on 2nd and Powell Sts. In Morris Twp. A 21 year old Hawk Run male was found to be under the influence and causing a disturbance. The was transported to the Clearfield County Jail and cited for disorderly conduct.
State police investigated the theft of a Blue Yamaha motorcycle on Morgan Run Rd. in Boggs Twp. The motorcycle was later recovered.
