CURWENSVILLE – The Pennsylvania Professional Lumberjack Organization will present two demonstrations on vintage lumberjack tools Saturday at Curwensville Lake’s Fall Festival that’s being held from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Over 15 vendors will be spaced throughout the grove area to maximize social distancing, and will offer a wide range of items from jewelry, crafts, raffles, wood crafts and more.
There will be a bonfire for s’mores (please bring your own supplies), and area boy scouts will have food available for purchase.
Children’s activities will include a free pumpkin and craft to the first 100 children under 12 years of age, pumpkin bowling, scavenger hunts, and hayrides. The schedule of events is as follows:
- Vendors and food, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- Hayrides , 12 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Lumberjack demonstration, 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
- Egg toss, 3:30 p.m.
Vendors are being accepted through Thursday at 12 p.m., and interested persons should call 814-236-2320 to register at no charge).
Everyone is welcome to attend; the required entrance fee is $3 per car.
