DUBOIS – The Sandy Township Police Department has reported two unrelated death investigations, both of which were opened on Saturday, Sept. 26.
At approximately 12:19 p.m., police say they were dispatched to a Cayman Landing residence following a call concerning a deceased 43-year-old female.
The cause of death remains under investigation with assistance from Clearfield County Coroner Kim Shaffer-Snyder.
At approximately 8 p.m., police received a report when a male was found lying unresponsive in a grassy area near the interstate’s entrance along state Route 255.
Upon arrival, officers determined he was deceased, which was confirmed by Shaffer-Snyder. An autopsy is currently pending, police say.
Police assure that there’s no danger to the public. More information will be released upon completion of the death investigations.
