CURWENSVILLE – Athletic Director Allen Leigey of Curwensville has announced that Friday night’s football game against the Sheffield Wolverines at Curwensville has been cancelled.
Mr. Leigey said that the Sheffield Area School District has decided to shut down the football season for the rest of 2020 due to low numbers of players available. The two teams were also to play at Sheffield on Saturday afternoon, October 24th.
Curwensville’s (0-1), next scheduled game is at Union/AC Valley, next Friday, September 25, at Union High School in Rimersburg. Kick-off is set for 7 pm.
