Lawrence Township
Police responded to the area of Village Rd. for a report of a physical domestic. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim who reported she was assaulted by Jessica Fluke, 23, of Clearfield who was allegedly under the influence of air duster. The victim reported she was punch in the face and then struck with the air duster can leaving marks in several locations. Fluke fled the scene. She was later taken into custody and arraigned on simple assault charges. A preliminary hearing is to be scheduled.
Police responded to a 2 vehicle crash on Fullerton St. A Nissan Altima was stopped waiting to perform a left hand turn when it was struck in the rear by a Toyota Corolla. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
PSP Clearfield
State police attempted a traffic stop on a red Cavalier on the Shawville Church Hwy. in Goshen Twp. The operator failed to stop for emergency lights and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. The pursuit lasted a short distance after the operator went off the roadway and onto an ATV trail and became disabled. The driver was taken into custody and found to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges are to be filed.
