Officers assisted Clearfield EMS at a residence on West Pine Street for an unresponsive female.
Officers assisted Lawrence Township police with a traffic accident on Bigler Avenue. No injuries were reported.
Officers were notified that a male backed his truck into a storage unit on Hammermill Road causing extensive damage to the units. The incident is under further investigation.
Officers viewed a male standing in front of a business on West Front Street for a long period of time during the early morning hours. Contact was made with the male and he was sent on his way.
Officers were dispatched to an incident of harassment at a residence on McBride Street. According to witnesses, a male hit another male and pushed a female to the ground. Citations pending.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on McBride Street for a report of criminal mischief. According to the victim, he arrived home and found that his roommate had damaged/destroyed his belongings. Charges to be filed.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on South 5th Street for a suicidal male. Contact was made with the male and he agreed to be transported to Penn Highlands via EMS for a mental health evaluation.
Officers were dispatched to an apartment building on Nichols Street for an altercation. Upon arrival, it was found that a male and a female were yelling at one another and causing a disturbance. Citations pending for disorderly conduct.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on West Locust Street for a female and a male arguing. Upon arrival, it was found that the female wanted her adult son kicked out of the house. The female was informed she would need to contact the magistrate to start the eviction process.
Officers took multiple calls about fireworks being set off within the borough.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on North 5th Street for an overdose. Officers assisted Clearfield EMS as needed.
Lawrence Township police were assisted with an incident at the Comfort Inn due to township officers being on another priority call. The incident was handled and information was then turned over to township police.

Police were dispatched to the area of Wrigley and Hill Street Ext. for a report of a suspicious male hiding in bushes. Upon an investigation it was found that the male, Curtis Milligan, 19, of Clearfield had an active warrant and was in possession of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and various drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Clearfield County Jail. Charges have been filed.
Police responded to the WalMart Supercenter for a theft in progress. When confronted by WalMart staff, the suspects, a 35 year-old female and 25 year-old male both of Clearfield became uncooperative and ultimately fled the scene in a white Chevrolet Blazer. After reviewing the video surveillance both suspects were identified. The investigation continues.
Police were called to the WalMart Supercenter for a report of a theft in progress. Upon viewing video surveillance, two suspects were observed at the cash register area and were seeking assistance to withdraw money from a faulty cash app card in the amount of $928. Both suspects were seen leaving the area in a gray Nissan Rogue with a Nevada license plate. The investigation continues.
Police were called to the WalMart Supercenter for a retail theft. Upon investigation it was found that Douglas Smith, Jr., 40, of Brockport had failed to scan merchandise on multiple occasions totaling $236.70. Charges have been filed.
Police received a report of retail theft from the WalMart Supercenter. The actor identified as Alicia Kay Sloppy, 27, of Grampian was charged with retail theft and trespassing.
Police responded to Lawrence Park Village for a report of a female that had been assaulted. Upon arrival, police found the female to have injuries around her neck and stated that the offender applied pressure to her neck until she lost consciousness. It was also reported that the female was holding her young child at the time of the assault. The offender, Dishawn Liles, 29, was taken into custody and charged with strangulation, simple assault, endangering the welfare of a minor, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Police responded to the Unimart in Hyde for a report of a theft. During the investigation it was discovered that a prior employee of the store had stolen approximately $1,400. worth of scratch off lottery tickets. Charges are to be filed.
Police conducted a traffic stop on SR 879 for numerous equipment violations. Upon making contact with the male driver, it was found that he was under the influence of a controlled substance. A search of the vehicle found a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield for a legal blood draw. Charges are pending lab results.
