CLEARFIELD – A work party was hosted at the Clearfield Skatepark on June 24.
Volunteers moved over three truckloads of encroaching dirt from along the fence and used it to fill in a large mud puddle by the horse barns.
Others picked up trash, trimmed around ramps and the perimeter of the park, disassembled an unsafe ramp, swept the park and discussed future projects.
The group is looking to create and maintain a safe environment for community members to enjoy skateboarding, bicycling and scootering in Clearfield.
A meeting is being organized to plan future ramp designs, repairs and fundraising to support the park.
