Sandy Township
- Officers received a report of the smell of marijuana coming from a camp in Cayman Landing. Officers were unable to locate the source of the smell.
- Officers received a report of a dog in a vehicle near Old Navy at the DuBois Mall. The vehicle and the dog were gone upon officers arrival.
- A 27 year old DuBois woman reported that she went to her ex-husband’s residence to check on her kids and got into a dispute with his current girlfriend. A third party brought an unloaded shot gun out of the apartment and told the mother to leave. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- A 46 year old Township resident reported that he attempted to purchase a Honda Goldwing on line. The seller requested payment in Ebay gift cards. The buyer purchased 9 gift cards totaling $1,800 and sent the information via email to the seller and has not received the bike or had any further contact from the seller.
- A 77 year old Treasure Lake man reported receiving 4 unemployment checks he had not applied for. Investigation continues.
- A Circle Road resident reported her nieces cat appeared to be shot by a BB Gun.
- A man reported his 56 year old brother was riding his ATV on Clearview Campground property without permission. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- A truck driver reported his truck was hit while parked in the Pilot Parking Lot, then left the scene. Minor damage reported.
Lawrence Township
- Police responded to a call on Coal Hill Rd. for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked outside the complainant’s residence for over an hour. When officers arrived they observed a male laying over his center console. It was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol. Charges are to be filed.
- Police are investigating the theft of a laptop from a residence on S. 2nd St. The investigation continues.
- Police responded to a call on Dorey St. for a report of several suspicious people at the Rainbow Car Wash. Officers made contact with the group and found one male unresponsive and another male trespassing on posted property. EMS was called for the unresponsive male. Charges have been filed.
PSP Clearfield
- State police investigated an incident of criminal mischief at the Curwensville Dam. According to the report, sometime between 05/22 and 05/27 unknown actor(s) kicked in the locked door of a maintenance building busting the frame. Nothing appeared to be taken. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Clearfield.
- State police arrested a 76 year-old Grampian man for a PFA violation. Charges have been filed.
- State police arrested Caleb Perks, 20, of Osceola Mills after he was found to be in possession of a pistol and shooting it in the air. Perks was taken into custody and placed in the Clearfield County Jail. Charges have been filed.
- State police arrested a 48 year-old St. Marys man after he was stopped for driving with a suspended license. It was then determined that he had been consuming alcoholic beverages prior to driving. Charges are pending.
