CLEARFIELD – Ground was broken earlier this week on the $4-million River’s Landing Project in Clearfield Borough, according to Clearly Ahead Development Chief Executive Officer Rob Swales.
The project consists of the construction of a two-story, 11,500-square-foot multi-occupancy facility with up to three suites on the first floor.
There will also be outdoor seating areas and the upper floor will consist of professional office space, incubation/coworking space and special event and training center capabilities.
Construction of an additional sidewalk to connect the Market Street Bridge to Lower Witmer Park will take place along the river’s edge at Market Square.
The Market Square parking lot will be expanded, and an additional lot to serve River’s Landing and Market Square will be created between Lower Witmer Park and the existing Market Square facility.
Swales said that visitors to the riverwalk may experience closure of the riverwalk within the River’s Landing project area for the duration of the construction project.
Construction will take place over the next year, and is expected to be completed in May of 2021.
