- A U-Haul representative reported that a 26 year old DuBois woman rented a ramp trailer and failed to return it per the contract. Investigation continues.
- A 55 year old resident reported that he became involved in an online relationship with someone claiming to be a woman looking for a relationship. The person would send personal checks to the man and have him deposit them in his bank account for safe keeping. The person would then request the man buy gift cards and send pictures of them. The man was then notified by his bank that he owed them approximately $8,500 because the checks he deposited were not good.
- A 43 year old resident reported that her husband had been acting strangely and she confronted him. She was concerned that he may do something and was directed on obtaining a PFA.
PSP Clearfield
- State police are investigating an incident of theft by deception in Boggs Twp. The victim told police that she attempted to sell a Samsung Galaxy watch on Pennswoods and mailed the item to a buyer in Columbus, Mississippi but never received payment. The investigation continues.
- State police investigated an incident of harassment and unwanted physical contact in Cooper Twp. Both parties were cited through District Court.
