GRAMPIAN – In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bilger’s Rocks Association announced Monday that it has closed all facilities at Bilger’s Rocks in Grampian.
It was noted that the public can still access trails and parking for passive and dispersed recreation, such as hiking.
However, all facilities at the park will be closed until May, 2 to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The closed facilities include the:
- park offices and visitor center;
- playground area;
- concessions;
- restrooms; and
- campgrounds.
Any scheduled public programs and events have also been cancelled.
The association encourages visitors to practice social distancing while enjoying open spaces and to avoid large groups. Visitors are reminded to be respectful of the park’s natural places, and to use the restroom before they leave home.
