CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Commissioners on Tuesday awarded a bid for voting booths pending final approval by the solicitor and election office.
The commissioners received one bid from William Penn Printing/Election Equipment of Pittsburgh, said board chairman Tony Scotto.
The bid included 250 voting booths at $154 each and 70 Americans with Disabilities Act voting booths at $195 each. The booths will cost $52,150, plus shipping.
In other business, the commissioners:
- approved a subscription agreement with Technology Enterprise Group Inc.
- approved linkage agreements with The Meadows and Peerstar LLC.
- approved a one-year agreement with Clearly Ahead Development, the county’s economic development entity.
- approved the bills as presented by the Controller’s office.
