Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a theft of leased property Monday at Rent-A-Center, Clearfield. According to police, a 26-year-old Morrisdale man rented a 55-inch television and sectional couch in July of 2019, and his last payment was made Aug. 24, 2019. Since then, he’s allegedly failed to make payments and to respond to calls, certified mail, etc., in an attempt to have the property returned to the store. Charges are expected to be filed through the district court.
- Police received a report of possible vandalism/criminal mischief that occurred Jan. 1 at the Pennsylvania Army National Guard Armory, Clearfield. Police say a 26-year-old male is expected to make restitution at the request of military personnel at the armory.
- Police received a report of criminal mischief Tuesday at an apartment complex on Turnpike Avenue Extension, Clearfield. During the incident, a female allegedly broke out several large sunroom windows inside her rental unit. Police say charges are pending at this time.
