CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield woman has been accused of stealing more than $4,000 while she worked as the manager of a local fast food restaurant.
Bobbie Jo Cambria, 38, has been charged by Officer Zachary Cowan of the Lawrence Township police with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, both felonies.
Cambria allegedly stole $4,212.69 from bank deposits at Burger King, Clearfield, on numerous dates in December and January. Police say Cambria ultimately confessed to committing the thefts.
Cambria is currently housed in the Clearfield County Jail on the charges as well as three, separate warrants through the township police. She’s being held in lieu of $25,000 bail.
Online court documents indicate that Cambria is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing at 10 a.m. Jan. 29 during centralized court at the jail.
