State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about a motor vehicle theft that occurred between Dec. 26 and Jan. 11 in the area of Jasmine Lane and Allport Cutoff in Graham Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a Yamaha YFM all-terrain vehicle. The ATV is green in color with a black rifle rack on the front. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
- State police responded to a motor vehicle collision Thursday on Interstate 80 westbound at mile-marker 133 in Cooper Township. According to state police, Angel E. Gualan Andrade, 24, of Wisconsin was traveling in the right-hand lane when – for unknown reasons – he lost control of his vehicle. It reportedly crossed both lanes before colliding with an embankment and overturning onto its passenger’s side along the roadway. Andrade was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, and his vehicle was towed from the scene. State police cited Andrade as a result of the collision.
Lawrence Township
- Police charged 26-year-old Cody Stephenson of Clearfield with drug violations, scattering rubbish and trespass by motor vehicle following an incident Thursday in Lawrence Township. According to police, information was received about a person sleeping inside a vehicle that was parked behind the caller’s garage on Washington Avenue. Upon investigation, police identified the person as Stephenson, and he was allegedly in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. The charges were filed through the district court.
